New Delhi: Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of a non-subsidised LPG cylinders. According to the news agency ANI, the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder refill has gone up by Rs 25.50 to Rs 834.50 in Delhi and Mumbai while the price of domestic cylinder weighing 19 kg has also been increased by Rs 76 to Rs 1,550 in the national capital.
After the latest hike, a LPG cylinder refill costs Rs 850.50 in Chennai, the highest in the country. According to news agency PTI reports, LPG prices had gone up by Rs 115 per 14.2-kg cylinder since the beginning of February.
LPG prices were hiked first by Rs 25 per cylinder on February 4, followed by a Rs 50 per cylinder increase on February 15 and a Rs 25 raise each on February 25 and March 1. On March 31, oil companies have reduced the cylinder price by Rs 10 on softening international oil prices.
