Jangaon (Telangana): Bussa Krishna's admiration for Donald Trump seems to have remained undiminished, ever since the latter was sworn in as the 45th President Of The United States (POTUS).
Expressing his adoration, the 31-year-old, who claims himself to be a die-hard fan of Donald Trump, unveiled a six-foot statue of the US President at his residence at Konnea village in Telangana's Jangaon district.
Krishna had spent Rs 1.3 lakh to set up the statue and had unveiled it on Trump's 73rd birthday on June 14. He even performed an 'abhishekam', a milk bath typically performed to deities, to the statue and remarked that he would worship the same, every day.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Krishna said that he liked Trump's straightforwardness and enthusiasm (towards work), alongside other qualities. "I have been a follower of Donald Trump for the past three years and I am his die-hard fan. I have unveiled his statue to mark his birthday and wish for good relations between India and the US," he added.
Those visiting the nondescript village can find the Indianised version of Donald Trump (statue) draped in a shawl, garlands and with a long tilak on his forehead.
Krishna has been worshipping the statue on par with other deities by offering food, incense and other typical items used for veneration.
