New Delhi: A video of an artist sketching the portrait of an elderly passenger on a train has drawn immense appreciation on the Internet. The passenger's happiness and excitement after he saw his own portait has left social media users emotional. The comments section has been flooded with heart emojis.
The video has been posted by an instagram user, Vishnu Dineshan. Vishnu's account says he is a self-taught artist from Kerala. In the video, an elderly man in a blue half-sleeve shirt is seen sitting with his legs stretched on the train's lower birth. Then, the video shows the user's drawing book where he starts sketching the man's portrait with coloured ball point pen. The portrait is completed within a few second and then it is presented to the man. The best part of the video is towards the end where the man is handed over the portait, bringing a broad smile on his face. His happiness and excitement on seeing his portrait has left social media emotional.
The video has been caption, "I was on a train at night, the carriage was mostly empty, but I noticed a person traveling alone below me. As an artist, I couldn’t resist the urge to sketch them. With each stroke of the pen, I tried to capture the mystery and allure of this person. When I showed them the finished sketch, the smile on their face made me feel like for a brief moment, I looked up to find them staring back at me, a slight smile on their face. The sketch in my hand was a reminder of that fleeting connection, and I knew I would never forget it."
Heaps of praises for the artist was seen on the social media. "In my entire life some one showing the use of five refill pen," said a user. "brother…superb," wrote another user while a user explaimed, "Still wondering how you did it perfectly in limited time". "The observation and the detailing is great" and "Keep following ur passion," said two users. "Extraordinary skills bro. God gifted skills", said another user.

One user asked the artist for a drawing while another inquired about the pen he uses. Users have also been touched by the man's happiness on getting his portrait. "He is very happy bro thanks you," said a use. Emotional at the man's smile, a user said, "Good talent. That smile from him". Echoing him another user said "Uff his smile". "We can find ultimate happiness in his face," a user added. "This video deserves a like from everyone," said another user.
