Guards beat up boys suspected of stealing

Guards at an orchard in Telangana state are facing action after they forced two boys to eat cow dung. Reports say the boys went to the orchard in search of their dog, but the guards suspected that they came to steal.

Mahabubabad: Two boys in Telangana state were forced to eat cow dung after guards at an orchard suspected them of stealing.

Reports say the boys who were tied up and beaten by the guards in Mahabubabad district, went to the orchard in search of their dog.

Parents of the boys lodged a complaint at the police station in Thorrur after a video of the incident went viral on social media. The attack on the boys was brought to the attention of the District Collector, the superintendent of police and other representatives.

A case was registered against the guards who were identified as Banotu Yaku and Banotu Ramu of Hachu Tanda.
