Samastipur (Bihar): The Samastipur Railway Division in Bihar is on high alert following the arrest of two ISI agents in Delhi Police who revealed 'a terror plot' to attack rail bridges and tracks using RDX across the country, including the state.
In this regard, A.K.Lal, the Divisional Security Commissioner of Railway Protection Force has issued an order to the Railway Police, including the police superintendents of 13 districts, to remain alert against any untoward incident.
Earlier, on 18th September, RPF's Divisional Security Commissioner AK Lal had issued an advisory to Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Motihari, Bettiah, Muzaffarpur, Khagaria, Madhubani, Begusarai, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia SP, including Railway Superintendent of Police Muzaffarpur and Katihar.

In the advisory, it has been mentioned that the two ISI agents had revealed that there were plans to use RDX on bridges, culverts, railway tracks, crowded locations and in different places of the country. In such a situation, efforts are being taken by the Railway Protection Force to ensure that no untoward incident of any kind should happen.
Further, the RPF beefed up the security system to avoid any kind of security lapse ahead of the festive season when people depend more on trains to travel to home towns or visit families.
