New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. In the letter, the Congress leader has urged the minister to improve the poor mobile internet connectivity in his Wayanad parliamentary constituency.
In the letter, Rahul Gandhi wrote that the lack of internet coverage in the area is causing problems for communities residing in the forest hamlets. He added that students are suffering and they are traveling long distances for internet connectivity.
Rahul further added that the glaring digital divide threatens to undermine the years of gains made by the tribal communities living in the area. He urged the minister to improve mobile internet connectivity in the region.
