PoK belongs to India: Rajnath at Bihar rally

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at a rally in Bihar said that Pakistan should understand one thing clearly that entire Pok belonged to India and today also we consider PoK as part of India. In future also, it will remain with India.

Muzaffarpur (Bihar): Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur on Wednesday, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan should understand that PoK belonged to India, it is still part of the country and in future also, it will remain with India.

"Pakistan should understand one thing clearly that entire PoK belonged to India and today also we consider PoK as part of India. In the future also, it will remain with India. This is our Parliament's resolution," Singh said.

Earlier, Rajnath Singh had said that Gilgit-Baltistan, part of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, is an integral part of India and slammed the Imran Khan government’s move to grant provincial status to it.

“Pakistan has illegally occupied Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan is going to make it a province now. Our government has clarified that Gilgit-Baltistan, along with entire PoK, is an integral part of India,” Singh tweeted in Hindi.

“We never wanted the Partition of India, but it happened. The minorities which were left in India, you know how they are treated. We brought a law for these persecuted minorities,” the defence minister stated in another tweet.

Bihar voted in the first and second phases of the state elections on October 28 and November 3. Voting in the third phase will take place on November 7 and the results are scheduled to be declared on November 10.
