Mumbai: The Mumbai police received a bomb threat call from an anonymous caller at three places in the city on Wednesday. As informed by the officials, the call was received at 10:30 pm on Tuesday, wherein the caller threatened to bomb Infinity Mall, Juhu PVR, and Sahara Hotel in the state capital during Diwali.
The officials after receiving the call have beefed up the security measures and alerted the forces across the city, while an investigation to identify the caller is also underway. Security forces have been deployed at all three spots. The officials from the BDDS team and CIF team have conducted thorough searches though nothing suspicious has been detected yet. The officials are speculating the call to be a hoax call, though the security arrangements have been kept intact.
