Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh): Getting a certificate without doing any work might give one a false sense of satisfaction. But the same can also be a cause of major concern. One such incident happened with a person in Surguja district. Without taking the second dose of the corona vaccine, a message came on his mobile that the second dose has been administered to him along with directions to download the certificate. Since then, he has been very upset.
In fact, Bhanu Pratap Singh, a resident of Sattipara in Ambikapur, received a message on his mobile phone September 23 which stated that the second dose of the Covishield vaccine has been administered to him. A link was also given to download the certificate. Seeing this message, the young man got scared and reached the nearest vaccination centre. He also tried to register for another dose from his mobile, but the registration did not happen. According to the computer of the health department, since he had taken the second dose, he cannot register for another dose. He had to return disappointed.

However, in this case, District Immunisation Officer Dr Rajesh Bhajgawali said that the message does not matter. Even if this has happened to someone, then he or she will definitely get another dose of the vaccine. He said that this might a computer error. But it is necessary to get the second dose no matter if such a message comes or not.
However, there are chances of many such cases in the district. How many people would have received such a message? This is a matter of concern. Questions are being raised about the health department if such an entry is being done deliberately to meet the second dose target. Surguja district is far behind in second dose vaccination. Till a few days ago, only 50 percent of the population in the district has been administered the second dose in of the vaccination. This news was also highlighted by ETV Bharat.
