New Delhi: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Wednesday has called the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to 'zero', in terms of politics and asserted that she becomes a 'hero' when it comes to 'quarrel'. He asserted that the chief minister had entered the politics from the Nandigram constituency and the same seat will be her 'exit gate' when the polls result will be announced on May 2.
While speaking to ETV Bharat, he said that the Mamata led-Trinamool Congress has failed to fulfil the promises that she made during the 2016 assembly elections and now she has been alleging the centre for 'no reasons'.
When asked about the effect of the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 in the state, he said the bill was passed to provide justice to the citizens who are persecuted on the basis of religion. So, it will act positively for the party in the ongoing polls.
