The Crime Branch during their investigation found out that the firing was carried out by the duo as directed by Pujari, the alleged mastermind of the case. A month before the incident, Ravi Pujari had sought Rs 25 crores from Leena over the phone.

Leena, the parlour owner, denied the money demanded by the kingpin Ravi Pujari, which later lead to Pujari giving the contract to the goons to threaten Leena and extort money.

No casualty was reported in the incident but there were some minor damages seen in the parlour.
