Jaipur: Amid prevailing uncertainty over the future of Congress in Rajasthan, Cabinet Minister and party leader Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on Sunday demanded attention from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, pointing toward numbers on his side.
Khachariyawas, who accused Gehlot further of not consulting others before taking decisions, also noted that aggrieved MLAs were going to submit their resignations to assembly Speaker CP Joshi.
"All the MLAs are angry and are resigning. We are going to the speaker for that. MLAs are upset that how can CM Ashok Gehlot take a decision without consulting them. CM Gehlot should pay heed to the suggestions of MLAs. We have 92 MLAs with us," news agency ANI quoted Khachariyawas as saying.

The complaint of inattention against Gehlot comes amid the Congress Legislature Party meet all set to take place at the Chief Minister's residence on Sunday evening. The CM, who confirmed having filed a nomination for the post of Congress president recently, is being considered a favorite for the spot.
Before the CLP meeting, however, an unofficial meeting of party MLAs took place at the residence of minister Shanti Dhariwal on Sunday, where several legislators expressed disapproval towards Sachin Pilot possibly replacing Gehlot as Chief Minister, according to sources.
