New Delhi: Amid the internal storm in Congress party over loss in Bihar polls, Sonia Gandhi's advisory committee will meet today regarding party's debacle in the elections.
Congress party emerged as the weakest link of opposition during Bihar Assembly elections. Congress contested 70 seats, the most in Mahagathbandhan after RJD (144), but managed to win just 19 seats. While the left parties had shown a better strike rate than India's grand old party.
Following the loss in elections, the issue of review within the party has emerged once again. Congress' senior leader Kapil Sibal questioned the party's leadership during an interview while saying that it has accepted the loss as its destiny.
