New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Saturday said the proposed trust concerning the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya should be apolitical and the required funds should not come from the exchequer.
Interacting with ETV Bharat here, VHP Secretary-General Milind Parande said the Supreme Court suggested trust, which would be responsible for the construction of the temple, was to be formed within three months after the final decision on the matter and there's still time for it.
He, however, stressed that it should be apolitical trust.
"There's still time for the trust to be formed. There are people in the central government who have been associated with the Ram Temple movement, they would work keeping in mind everything related to it," he said.
The VHP leader also said that the money needed to build the temple must not come from the government.
"Funds must not come from the government. The same should be raised by the public," he asserted, informing that work to start construction was on and the construction should begin soon.
