New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday claimed that Narendra Modi is a 'sanskaari' prime minister which the Opposition is unable to learn. PM Modi filed his nominations on Friday from the Varanasi constituency.
On being asked about the saffron party polarising Hindu votes, BJP leader Tom Vadakkan said that the entire country is in favour of Modi. He mentioned places where people have gathered to listen to the PM irrespective of their caste and religion.
He said that the Modi wave has begun from UP's Varanasi and has now reached all corners of this country, which the Opposition is unable to bear.
Reacting over Modi's visit to Ayodhya's Ram Temple, he justified Modi's move saying he not visiting the temple due to the ongoing elections. He said that one shouldn't connect PM's every move to elections. He also went ahead to deny allegations over the party polarising Hindu votes, saying that why would it polarise votes now when the elections are on.
He further claimed that the general public would give a befitting reply to the Opposition's allegations saying that the Opposition is only on putting allegations.
Vadakkan had left Congress and joined the saffron party only a month before the LS elections.
