Two arrested in Haryana for ties with SJF, arms seized

Two youths have been arrested with arms for working with Sikh for Justice by Haryana police. The accused confessed to the crime that they were in contact with US-based man who transferred money into their accounts.

Karnal: Haryana police seized arms from two youth and arrested them for having ties with 'Sikhs for Justice' (SJF). During interrogation, the accused revealed that they were touch in US-based Gurmeet Singh who transferred lakhs of rupees into their bank accounts via MoneyGram.

Police recovered arms and ammunition from their procession during their arrest on December 23. According to sources, the accused received foreign funds to reportedly kill a Shiv Sena leader.

"Special Task Force of Hisar arrested two youths Tej Prakash and Akashdeep for working with Sikh for Justice in a special operation. The accused were presented before the court after being kept in four days remand. We are investigating the matter from all angles and collecting all possible evidence to crack the case," said police superintendent Ganga Ram Punia.
