1. PM to launch financing facility worth Rs 1 lakh crore under Agricultural Infrastructure Fund
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a financing facility of Rs 1 lakh crore under the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund through a video conference today. He will also release the sixth instalment of funds under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna (PM-KISAN) scheme, a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said. The event will be witnessed by lakhs of farmers, cooperatives, and citizens across the country. Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, will also be present on the occasion.
2. PM to interact with Andaman and Nicobar BJP workers via video-conferencing
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with BJP workers of Andaman and Nicobar through video conference in the presence of BJP president JP Nadda on Sunday. The Prime Minister had last month interacted with party workers of Rajasthan and Bihar via video conferencing at the 'Seva Hi Sangathan' programme in the presence of other top leaders including BJP chief JP Nadda and several union ministers.
3. RSS chief to meet senior functionaries, discuss COVID relief work on a two-day visit to Bhopal
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will go on a two-day visit to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh starting from Sunday (tomorrow). He will meet senior functionaries and discuss relief work conducted during COVID-19, a Sangh functionary has said. As many as 859 new COVID-19 positive cases and 15 deaths have been reported in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday, the state health department said.
4. Raising the issue of unemployment, IYC to start 'Rozgar Do' campaign from today
Targetting the Central government over the issue of unemployment, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) will start "Rozgar Do" campaign on its foundation day on Sunday. The main objective of the campaign is to raise the voice of the youth with regard to unemployment, from the national level in Delhi to district, tehsil and village level so that youth unites itself and forces the government to generate employment, said IYC chief Srinivas BV.
