New Delhi: A fire broke out on the second floor of Azad Bhawan at ITO on Sunday, a Delhi Fire Service official said. However,no injury was reported.
According to the fire department, a call about the blaze was received at 3.53 pm after which three fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The official suspect that a short circuit triggered the fire in the building.The blaze was brought under control by 4.05 pm, he added.
According to the building staff, fire erupted in the director's room situated on the second floor.
''When we smoke coming out, we ran upstairs. When we went inside, we saw that computer's UPS was heated up due to which fire broke out'',said the staff.
Meanwhile, with the help of Fire Extinguisher the fire was extinguished. The situation is under control now.
