COVID-19 India tracker: State-wise report

The total number of active COVID-19 cases reported so far in the country stands at 5,865 including the 477 people who had been cured or discharged and the number of people who died was 169, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Hyderabad: The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India reached 5,865 on Thursday, the Union Health Ministry said.

According to the Health Ministry website, as on April 9 at 05:00 pm, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 5,865 with 169 deaths. Maharashtra reported the most number of cases at 1,135, followed by Tamil Nadu that reported 738 cases.
