Gaya: As India is fighting against the deadly disease Coronavirus, a branch of Punjab National bank (PNB) in Chandchaura area in Gaya has come up with a unique way to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The bank has made Plastic walls to continue the work in the pandemic situation.
The plastic walls were made to avoid employees and customers direct contact to contain the virus. Everyone is also praising this new way of the bank because both customers and bank workers are able to do their work easily.
PNB bank manager Mantu Sharma who took this unique initiative said that the bank management has taken this step in the wake of Coronavirus spread. The bank employees have to deal with many people every day as this place is often crowded. We have taken this decision to practice social distancing.
This PNB branch is located near Vishnupad temple, a place where devotees from all over the world, in order to protect everyone from the virus, they made plastic walls at all the open counters.
Mantu Sharma said, "ATMs, BNAs and passbook machines installed outside the bank are being cleaned 4 times a day. In this way, customers are also being made aware of Coronavirus. This first of its kind initiative in the country to avoid the infection of Coronavirus. I think all banks should adopt this idea."
