Allahabad: Advocate gets show cause notice for threatening court staff

The Allahabad High Court has asked the advocate Akash Mani Tripathi to show cause why he must not be debarred from entering the court premises for issuing threats and using derogatory language against a court staff.

Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh): Taking notice of the complaint by a court staff that an advocate had issued threats and used derogatory language against him, the Allahabad High Court has asked the advocate to show cause why he must not be debarred from entering the court premises, pending of notice.

Justice Suneet Kumar said, "It is informed by my staff that Sri Akash Mani Tripathi, advocate, appearing for the petitioner in the instant writ petition had approached the office of my staff and used derogatory language."

Advocate Akash Mani Tripathi was allegedly aggrieved because his order had not been uploaded in a petition on behalf of his client, one Padmakar Tripathi, working as an assistant teacher in the primary section of a school, seeking his salary under the UP High Schools and Intermediate Colleges (Payment of Salaries of Teachers and other Employees ) Act, 1971.
