New Delhi: Ten more Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases in the force to 313.
According to a statement issued by the BSF, eight of the fresh cases were from Delhi and one each from Tripura and Kolkata. All personnel who tested positive are under treatment at designated COVID-19 health care hospitals.
With the 10 fresh Covid-19 cases reported on Thursday, the total count of BSF personnel who have tested positive for the contagious Covid-19 infection has now risen to 313. As many as 21 BSF personnel have been discharged after recovering from the coronavirus infection and they have been put under quarantine as per the protocol, the statement read.

In CRPF, three new cases were reported on Thursday, taking their tally to more than 254 cases. Meanwhile, no new Covid-19 case has been reported among the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel in the last 24 hours, the statement read.
So far, the total number of active Covid-19 cases among CISF personnel across the country stands at 106, and 3 of its personnel have recovered after treatment, the statement added.
