Dream Girl 2 Box Office Updates

Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 stormed the box office upon its release on August 11. Helmed by Anil Sharma the film crossed Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office. The numbers, however, were on the decline for a few days while collections declined further as Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan hit the screens on September 7. Another film that is seemingly affected by the tsunami that Jawan unleased is Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2.

The release of Jawan has seemingly affected the performance of Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday's latest release Dream Girl 2 at the box office. On day 14 of its release, Deram Girl 2 is likely to witness a drop in numbers by 63.3%. The film helmed by Raj Shaandilya is close to entering the Rs 100 crore club, nonetheless, the task is challenged by the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan release.

Before the film completes two weeks in theaters, competition from another tentpole film awaits as Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan releases on September 7. Dream Girl 2 is really close to crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in India but it will be an uphill task with Jawan arriving in theaters tomorrow. The box office for Dream Girl 2 is already on a downward spiral as the collections are likely to decline by 16.6% on day 13, Wednesday.
