The Delhi High Court has granted bail to a married man accused of raping a woman on false pretext of marriage. The court ruled that consensual sexual activity between consenting adults, regardless of their marital status, is not a crime under societal norms. The prosecutrix's decision to continue their relationship despite knowing the accused's marital status was based on her consent and no evidence of forceful relations.
