Hyderabad: Fresh off the success of his latest film Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is now making headlines for his philanthropic efforts. The pan-India star has stepped forward to support the victims of the devastating landslide in Wayanad, Kerala, by donating a substantial Rs. 2 crores to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This significant contribution is helping provide crucial aid to affected families and support recovery efforts.

In addition to Prabhas, several other Tollywood celebrities have also shown their generosity. Allu Arjun has contributed Rs. 25 lakhs, while Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan donated Rs. 1 crore. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have also made contributions.

Rashmika Mandanna, who recently won acclaim in Kerala with her role in Pushpa, has donated Rs. 10 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. Rashmika, who was in Kerala for an event, has joined the growing list of South Indian celebrities aiding the relief and rescue operations.

Chiyaan Vikram was among the first to support the relief efforts, donating Rs. 20 lakhs to the CMDRF. The united response from the industry during this crisis is truly heartening, and we anticipate further acts of compassion from more celebrities.

The devastating landslides in Kerala's Wayanad have claimed a 413 lives, with 152 persons still missing, even as the rescue efforts entered their ninth day. A massive team of over 1,000 rescuers, comprising jawans from the Defence forces, NDRF, SDRF, police, fire brigade, and volunteers, launched a fresh search operation early Wednesday morning in the four most severely affected regions of Churalmala, Velarimala, Mundakayil, and Punchirimadom.
