Kutch: Twenty-two-year-old Indra Mina tragically died after falling into a 500-foot-deep borewell in Kanchherai village, Bhuj taluka, Kutch district, on January 6. During the 34-hour rescue operation involving the NDRF, BSF, fire department, disaster management team, army, and local administration, she was retrieved from the borewell, but was found dead.

On the other hand, the girl's brother, Lal Singh, stated that his daughter and his sister, Indra Meena, had gone to defecate in the morning. Only his daughter returned, while Indra did not. Lal Singh then went out to search for her and heard his sister Indra screaming for help from inside the borewell.
It was discovered that the borewell had been covered with large stones, leading to questions about how she fell into it. The fall of the 22-year-old woman into the narrow borewell shocked the residents.
