টোকিয়ো, 5 সেপ্টেম্বর : প্রথম গেমে এগিয়ে থেকেও সোনা হাতছাড়া হল নয়ডার জেলাশাসক সুহাস যথিরাজের ৷ ব্যাডমিন্টন পুরুষ সিঙ্গল এসএল ফোরের ফাইনালে আজ রুপো জিতলেন তিনি ৷ ফ্রান্সের লুকাস মাজুর জেতেন 15-21, 21-17 এবং 21-15 গেমে ৷ সময় নেন 1 ঘণ্টা 2 মিনিট ৷ তবে প্রথম গেম জিতেছিলেন সুহাস ৷ এরপরই ম্যাচে ফেরেন মাজুর ৷ প্রথমবার প্যারা অলিম্পিকে ব্যাডমিন্টনকে যুক্ত করা হয়েছে ৷ আর এই নিয়ে ব্যাডমিন্টনে মোট 3টি পদক জিতল ভারত ৷
পোলিওতে ডান পা হারিয়েছেন ৷ তবে মনের জোর দমানো যায়নি তাঁর ৷ পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি খেলাধুলোতে নজর কাড়েন তিনি ৷ তাঁর এই জয়ের জন্য সুহাসকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ ৷ তিনি বলেন, "এর আগেও সুহাস অনেকগুলি পদক জিতেছেন ৷ নিজের প্রশাসনিক দায়িত্বের পাশাপাশি তিনি সফল হয়েছেন প্যারা অলিম্পিকসেও ৷ "
