লকডাউনের মধ্যে মদের দোকান খোলার সিদ্ধান্ত একেবারেই মেনে নিতে পারছেন না সিমি গারওয়াল ।

মুম্বই : লকডাউনে অর্থনীতিকে চাঙ্গা করতে সরকার মদের দোকান খোলার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে । তবে এই সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে দেশজুড়ে নানা প্রান্তে দেখা যাচ্ছে অরাজকতা । সামাজিক দূরত্ব মানা হচ্ছে না অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই । বাড়ছে পারিবারিক অশান্তির বা ডোমেস্টিক ভায়োলেন্সের আশঙ্কাও । এই সিদ্ধান্তের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানালেন সিমি গারওয়াল ।

টুইটারে তিনি লিখেছেন, "আমি সেই ইডিয়টটার নাম জানতে চাই, যে এমন এক অতিমারীর সময় মদের দোকান খোলার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে ।"

শুধু সিমি নন, জাভেদ আখতারও সরকারের এই সিদ্ধান্তের প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছে । লিখেছেন, "লকডাউনের মধ্যে মদের দোকান খুললে শুধুমাত্র খারাপ ফল পাওয়া যাবে । পারিবারিক হিংসা এমনিতেই বেড়েছে । মদের দোকান খুলে দিলে বাচ্চা ও মহিলাদের আশঙ্কা আরও বেড়ে যাবে ।"
