দিল্লি, 31 ডিসেম্বর : ভারতে নতুন কোরোনা স্ট্রেনের জেরে এবার রাতে কারফিউ জারি হল দিল্লিতে ৷ গতকালই ব্রিটেন থেকে দেশে ফেরা 20 জনের শরীরে মিলেছে কোরোনার নতুন স্ট্রেন ৷ যার পর বর্ষবরণ নিয়ে রাজ্যগুলিকে সতর্ক করেছে কেন্দ্র ৷ এই অবস্থায় রাতে কারফিউ জারি করা হল রাজধানীতে ৷
দিল্লির বিপর্যয় মোকবিলা দপ্তর জানিয়েছে, 31 ডিসেম্বর রাত 11টা থেকে পরদিন সকাল 6টা অবধি কারফিউ জারি করা হয়েছে । একইভাবে পরদিন 1 জানুয়ারি রাত 11টা থেকে 2 জানুযারি সকাল 6টা অবধি থাকবে কারফিউ ৷ এছাড়াও কোনওরকম বর্ষবরণ অনুষ্ঠান করা যাবে না বলে জানিয়েছে প্রশাসন ৷ জমায়েত নিষিদ্ধ, একজায়গায় 5 জনের বেশি জমায়েত করা যাবে না বলে স্পষ্ট করেছে বিপর্যয় মোকবিলা দপ্তর ৷

গত এক সপ্তাহে প্রায় গোটা দেশেই কমেছে কোরোনা সংক্রমণ ৷ যা সস্তির হলেও ব্রিটেন ফেরত ভারতীয়দের শরীরে কোরোনার নতুন স্ট্রেনের খোঁজ মিলতেই কপালে ভাঁজ পড়েছে কেন্দ্রের ৷ এর উপর বর্ষবরণ উৎসব নিয়েও চিন্তিত প্রশসন ৷ এই অবস্থায় দিল্লিতে বছর শেষের ও শুরুর দিনে জারি হল রাতের কারফিউ ৷
