Dwarka (Gujarat): Prime Minister Narendra Modi enjoyed scuba diving off the Arabian Sea coast at the Panchkui beach in Gujarat and said that praying in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in waters, was a "very divine experience".
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, after the scuba driving experience, the Prime Minister wrote, “To pray in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in the waters, was a very divine experience. I felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all (sic)."
The PM then while addressing a gathering attacked Congress, saying its entire strength was used to ensure the progress of just one family.
"All kinds of scams used to take place under the Congress regime", Modi said. “When you sent me to Delhi in 2014, I made a promise that I will not let the country be looted anymore. The scams during the Congress tenure have now stopped. In last 10 years, we made India the 5th largest economy,” Modi said.
"The entire strength of Congress has been used to take one family forward. If everything was to be done only for one family then how would one remember to build the country? Its (Congress) entire energy was focused on how to run the government for five years and how to hide scams," Modi added. On the 'Sudarshan Setu', the PM said he laid the foundation stone for this bridge six years ago and inaugurated it on Sunday. "This is Modi's guarantee," he added.
Modi began his day by offering prayers at Lord Sri Krishna temple at Beyt Dwarka and later inaugurated the four-lane cable-stayed bridge called the 'Sudarshan Setu', which boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from Srimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides.
