New Delhi: "Workers are the biggest strength of the party," said AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, which are slated for February 2025. Kejriwal, in a video message for the party workers on X, urged them to give the next two to three months for the elections, claiming AAP is the "only hope for the country".
"AAP is the only hope for our country. I urge all our workers to leave their work for the next two or three months and strive for the victory of the party," he said. The AAP supremo claimed that forces against the party will do anything to defeat them in Assembly polls, but they can't let such forces win. He also said AAP is a "fresh breeze" in Indian politics that talks about health, education and roads.
In his message, Kejriwal acknowledged the tough times faced by the party, especially during the last two years. He mentioned his desire to connect with the supporters. Reflecting on this difficult phase, he said, “God tests his most beloved disciples. Great challenges indicate that God is preparing us for even greater tasks ahead.”
Kejriwal praised the resilience of AAP workers, noting that despite attempts to break the party, they stood strong, forming a close-knit family. He expressed deep affection for the party's workers, saying, “I know you all love me very much, and I love you too. No one should come between this bond. We must make this relationship our strength.”
