Thane: A case has been registered against 10 women in Maharashtra's Thane district after they allegedly attacked a man and his family in a fit of rage over the barking of his pet dog. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in Ambivili, Kalyan, a locality in Thane, where the accused women, who are neighbours to the victim, stormed into his house and assaulted him, his wife and their daughter.
According to the police, the victim, a vegetable vendor, has previous disputes with the accused women over various issues. On Sunday, tensions escalated when the vendor's pet dog began barking in the locality, which angered the women. The group of women rushed to the vendor's house, where they physically attacked him and his family members. The victims sustained injuries during the assault.
