Hyderabad: Startling revelations have come to light in the investigation into the brutal murder of a young woman in Hyderabad. The accused, Vignesh alias Chintu, who had a history of petty thefts, orchestrated an elaborate deception involving a fake marriage ceremony before killing the victim.
A Wedding Drama to Deceive
Vignesh met the victim, who hails from Miyapur, on the social media platform Instagram and forged a relationship in the pretensions of love. On the morning of November 8, he staged a sham wedding at a friend's house, complete with books, garlands, and talismans, to convince others of their union. Photographs of the fake ceremony were shared with friends, the victim's family, and her Instagram acquaintances, creating an illusion of legitimacy.
The Planned Murder
According to police, Vignesh warned the girl after seeing her speaking to another person. Later the girl started pestering Vignesh to marry her and quarrels ensued in the following days. To get rid of her, Vignesh hatched the plan to kill her. Within hours of the setup wedding, Vignesh executed his deliberate plan while his friend and his wife, Saketh and Nandini, were away. A police official said Vignesh tied the nuptial knot with the girl as promised. Taking advantage of Saketh and Nandini's absence, He smashed the girl against a wall. Later, with the help of his friend and his wife, Vignesh disposed of the body in a dumpyard.
