Hyderabad: Ever since Farhan Akhtar introduced Ranveer Singh as the new Don, fans have been really curious about who will be the female lead in the movie. Farhan Akhtar's production banner, Excel Entertainment, teased fans by saying they'd make a special announcement about Don 3 on February 20. And they kept their promise! The makers announced that Kiara Advani will be the leading lady in Don 3.
Excel Entertainment shared a video on social media to announce Kiara joining Don 3. In the video, they said, "Welcome to the Don universe @kiaraaliaadvani #Don3." This is Kiara's first time working with Farhan and Ranveer. While she's mostly known for her roles in romantic comedies, Don 3 and WAR 2 will show her in action-packed roles.
Fans had been waiting for confirmation, and when Kiara was spotted at Farhan's office right after Don 3 was announced last year, it hinted at her being cast in the film. Back in August 2023, Farhan announced in a special video that Ranveer Singh would be the new Don. In the teaser, Ranveer introduces himself as Don while sitting in a high-rise and then turns to face the camera in a cool leather outfit.
