Hyderabad:As we commemorate International Women's Day on Friday, we need to acknowledge the trailblazing women of Bollywood who continue to inspire, empower, and lead the way for future generations. Whether in front of or behind the camera, these divas are not only ruling the roost, but also shaping the future of Indian film via their talent, dedication, and perseverance.

With the World celebrating International Women's Day on March 8, the spotlight shines brightly on the women of Bollywood who continue to shatter barriers, defy stereotypes, and carve their paths in the Indian film business. After establishing herself as a renowned actor, Kareena Kapoor Khan delved into production with her debut venture The Buckingham Murders following Alia Bhatt's footsteps.

Kareena Kapoor attempts to make a huge transition from Bollywood's glam doll to a film producer as seamlessly as Alia Bhatt transitioned from actor to producer first with Darlings and now Jigra. The Kapoors are not the only ones expanding their career in acting, Kangana Ranaut with her upcoming film Emergency dons the director's hat, and Kriti Sanon announces her production venture Blue Butterfly Films and the first film under the banner Do Patti featuring Kajol and herself in the lead.

A new generation of actors is leading the way, challenging norms and pushing the envelope. Several renowned Bollywood ladies are now not only gracing the silver screen but also venturing into production, influencing the future of Indian film through their creative vision. Here's a sneak peak at some of the highly anticipated productions bankrolled by the leading ladies.
