Anupam Kher Teams Up with Prabhas for His 544th Film

Anupam Kher announces his 544th film alongside Prabhas. The untitled film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.

Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle to announce his 544th film. The untitled film helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi will also feature Prabhas. The film will mark Kher and Prabhas' first collaboration on screen.

Sharing the exciting news on social media, the veteran actor wrote: "ANNOUNCEMENT: Delighted to announce my 544th untitled film with the #Bahubali of #IndianCinema, the one and only @actorprabhas! The film is directed by the very talented #HanuRaghavapudi! And produced by a wonderful team of producers of @mythriofficial! My very dear friend and brilliant @sudeepchatterjee.isc is the #Dop!"

Along with the information, the Bollywood actor posted a heartwarming picture of himself with the Bahubali actor. In the pic, Kher can be seen hugging Prabhas from behind as they both look in the camera. The film featuring the two is sure to create ripples at the box office with the two stalwarts coming together for the acclaimed director of Sita Ramam fame.

Since the film is in its initial stage, key information regarding the plot and the extended star cast has been kept under wraps. Fans of the two actors need to exercise patience as more information drops in the coming days.

The film marks an exciting chapter in Kher's illustrious career spanning over four decades with over 540 films. Recently, the actor was honoured by a Nobel Prize winner Professor James Allison for his philosophy of 'Optimism' at the Illuminate Oncology Townhall 2.0 event. It was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
