Amid the ongoing voting for the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, a voter in central Kashmir's Budgam alleged rigging claiming that his vote had been "already polled" at the concerned polling station. The Returning Officer however refuted the allegation saying that the complainant did not have the requisite documents.
“Security is in place. The man went inside and was asked to show the required documents. He felt agitated by that,” on a man alleging that his vote has already been polled at a polling booth in Budgam," Returning Officer Afroza said over the allegations. Voting is going on in the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls for 26 constituencies across six districts.
