ఉరిశిక్ష తప్పించుకోవడానికి నిర్భయ దోషి 'న్యాయ' ప్రయత్నం!
2012లో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కలకలం సృష్టించిన నిర్భయ ఘటనలో సుప్రీంకోర్టు విధించిన ఉరిశిక్ష నుంచి తప్పించుకోవడానికి అన్ని ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారు దోషులు. నలుగురు దోషుల్లో ఒకడైన అక్షయ్ ఇటీవలే సుప్రీంకోర్టులో రివ్యూ పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేశాడు. దాన్ని అత్యున్నత న్యాయస్థానం కొట్టివేసింది. తాజాగా ఉరిశిక్ష నుంచి ఊరట పొందడానికి క్యురేటివ్ పిటిషన్ అనే ప్రత్యేక అస్త్రాన్ని వినియోగించుకునేందుకు ఆలోచిస్తున్నట్టు మరో దోషి ముఖేశ్ తరఫు న్యాయవాది వెల్లడించారు.

ఉరిశిక్ష నుంచి ఊరట పొందేందుకు తమ వద్ద మరొక న్యాయపరమైన అవకాశముందని తెలిపారు నిర్భయ దోషుల్లో ఒకడైన ముఖేశ్ కుమార్ తరఫు న్యాయవాది. ఉరిశిక్షకు వ్యతిరేకంగా రాష్ట్రపతికి క్షమాభిక్ష అర్జీ పెట్టుకునే ముందు సుప్రీంకోర్టులో క్యురేటివ్ పిటిషన్(ప్రైవేట్ విచారణ) దాఖలు చేసే అంశాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్టు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
మరో దోషి అక్షయ్ కుమార్ రివ్యూ పిటిషన్ను అత్యున్నత న్యాయస్థానం కొట్టివేసిన కొద్ది సేపటికే ముఖేశ్ తరఫు న్యాయవాది ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడం గమనార్హం.

క్యురేటివ్ పిటిషన్ అనేది.. న్యాయపరంగా ఒక వ్యక్తికి అందుబాటులో ఉన్న చివరి సహాయం. ఈ పిటిషన్.. అరుదైన, ప్రత్యేక కేసుల్లోనే అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది. క్యురేటివ్ పిటిషన్పై విచారణ రహస్యంగా జరుగుతుంది.

2012 డిసెంబరు 16వ తేదీ రాత్రి 23 ఏళ్ల పారామెడికల్‌ విద్యార్థినిపై దిల్లీలో ఆరుగురు సామూహిక అత్యాచారానికి పాల్పడ్డారు. వీరిలో ఒకడు మైనర్ కాగా.... మరొకడు తిహార్ జైలులో ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నాడు. మిగిలిన దోషులైన ముకేశ్, పవన్ గుప్తా, వినయ్ శర్మల రివ్యూ పిటిషన్లను గతేడాది జులై 9నే కోర్టు కొట్టివేసింది. మరో దోషి అక్షయ్ కుమార్ సింగ్.. మరణశిక్షపై పునఃసమీక్షించాలంటూ తాజాగా సుప్రీంను ఆశ్రయించాడు. దీనినీ ఈ ఉదయం సర్వోన్నత న్యాయస్థానం కొట్టివేసింది.

"I don't want to necessarily complain about growing up the way that I did because, you know, there was always food on the table. I got to live in a nice house that, you know, I grew up - this is me checking my privilege. It's there. It's totally there. But there's a little bit of an attitude that I've gotten with, especially as I was starting out. Like, I walk into an audition room and people would just assume I would be, I don't know if I can swear on this, but an asshole people would just be like - I remember I did an audition once and I did the scene and then the casting director looked at me and said, 'Oh, wow, that was actually really good'. I'm like, 'Thank you, thank you. And then she said, ''I thought, you'd come in here and expect it to be handed to you and just be really entitled about it. I was like, ''No, I just genuinely want to do this. And if you, if I'm lucky enough to get this part, I'll do my best."

"With 'The Boys,' when I was a kid I read a lot of comics and I started with the old 'Spider-Man' comics and I just I knew I always wanted to be a part of a superhero project. And then the fact that that came along and the fact that it's being viewed by people, I don't know, that's a miracle. It's a miracle that anything gets made. And it's also a miracle if people actually see it. So the fact that that happened this year, I don't know, I just consider myself super, super lucky. 2019 I just feel like - I'm just grateful for 2019."

"'When Harry Met Sally, ' I watched that one for the first time to prepare for that movie. I don't know. I'd just never seen it. And then I watched it and it was so great and I was crying because I was so proud of her."

And then when something comes along and it hits the right chord, it feels pretty good. And yeah, some doors are opening, I guess. And I am really excited just to see what the future brings."

"I don't know what it is. But I want to be in a 'Star Wars' anything so bad. That's really what I grew up watching, was the original trilogy. We had it on VHS and I don't know, just I'll be whatever in the movie, I'll be a droid. I'll be a grain of sand on Tatooine. Like, I don't care. That would be a huge, huge deal for me. What else? I don't know, I just keep wanting to try different things, not get stuck in one type of role and just explore, explore. 2019 BREAKTHROUGH ENTERTAINER: JACK QUAID OF 'THE BOYS'
If you're an actor, and your parents just happen to be Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, you may have to get used to moviemakers assuming that you're an entitled jerk.
Jack Quaid says that just means he has to work harder to prove them wrong.
The 27-year-old Quaid is quick to point out that he's been a very lucky man, before he'll get into the stereotypes about the sons and daughters of very famous people.
"I don't want to necessarily complain about growing up the way that I did because there was always food on the table, I got to live in a nice house ... This is me checking my privilege. It's there. It's totally there," he said. "But there's a little bit of an attitude that I've gotten, especially as I was starting out. Like, I would walk into an audition room and people would just assume I would be an a******."
Quaid, who looks like his mother when he's delighted and his father when he's indignant, recalled one audition in particular.
"The casting director looked at me and said, 'Oh wow, that was actually really good. I thought you'd come in here and expect it to be handed to you and just be really entitled about it,'" he said. "I was like, 'No, I just genuinely want to do this. And if I'm lucky enough to get this part, I'll do my best'."
Quaid's best has been particularly good this year, earning him widespread attention for the first time since he fell in love with acting at the age of 13 (in a middle school rendition of "A Midsummer Night's Dream").
Quaid stars in "The Boys," an irreverent genre-busting superhero show that's among the most successful original programs on Amazon Prime. The show premiered in July, less than two weeks before the release of "Plus One," a romantic comedy starring Quaid and Maya Erskine that won the Narrative Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival.
"It's been crazy," Quaid recently told The Associated Press, which named him among the Breakthrough Entertainers of 2019. "It's just been a very wild year. I find myself thinking that I'm very lucky."
To prepare for "Plus One," Quaid binge-watched rom-coms, including "When Harry Met Sally" - for the first time.
"When your mom has one of the most iconic orgasm scenes of all time, you tend to not watch that, as a kid especially," he said. "And then I watched it and it was so great and I was crying because I was so proud of her."
As for "The Boys," Quaid calls the show a dream come true.
"And the fact that it's being viewed by people, I don't know. That's a miracle," he said.
Despite his success, Quaid said his life hasn't changed that much, except that more doors are opening for him professionally and people are starting to recognize him, although they often can't pinpoint why.
"They come up to me on the street and they go, 'Did we go to high school together?'" he said.
What's next for Quaid? For one, he'll do anything to be in a "Star Wars" movie.
"I'll be whatever in the movie -- I'll be a droid. I'll be like, a grain of sand on Tatooine. I don't care. That would be a huge, huge deal for me," he said. "I'm just really excited for the future and anything else that might come my way."
