టీనేజీలో అలవాటు

'రే బావా ఒక్క సారి తాగితే ఏం కాదు రా! ఈ వయస్సులో జీవితాన్ని ఎంజాయ్ చేయకపోతే తర్వాత కుదరదు రా! ట్రై చేయ్ మామా..' టీనేజ్లో చాలామంది స్నేహితులు మద్యాన్ని ఇలాగే అలవాటు చేస్తారు. అప్పడు బాగానే ఉన్నా అనంతరం ఆ అలవాటే వ్యసనంగా మారుతుందని తాజా సర్వేలో తేలింది.

లేత వయస్సులో సరదాగా అయ్యే అలవాటు భవిష్యత్తులో తీవ్ర సమస్యలకు దారితీస్తుందని అమెరికా పసిఫిక్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్(పీఐఆర్ఎమ్)కి చెందిన పరిశోధకులు చెబుతున్నారు. టీనేజీ అలవాటు క్రమేణా మత్తుపదార్థాల వైపు మరలిస్తుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

2013,2014 సంవత్సరాల్లో 15 నుంచి 18 ఏళ్ల మధ్య ఉన్న 405మంది టీనేజర్ల జీవన శైలిని పరిశోధకులు అధ్యయనం చేశారు. కుర్రాళ్లు మత్తుపదార్థాలను తీసుకునే రకరకాల ప్రదేశాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకున్నారు. చిన్నవయస్సులో మత్తుకు బానిసైన వారు భవిష్యత్తులో తీవ్రమైన సమస్యల బారిన పడుతున్నారని తెలిపారు.

మద్యం తాగేవాళ్లలో 33శాతం కుర్రాళ్లు 15ఏళ్లకే మత్తుపదార్థాలను తీసుకుంటుండగా, 15ఏళ్ల తర్వాత మరో 33శాతం మంది డ్రగ్స్కి అలవాటు పడుతున్నారు. మిగిలిన 33శాతం మందికి ఆల్కహాల్ అలవాటున్నా.. మత్తు జోలికి పోవట్లేదని పరిశోధకులు కనుగొన్నారు.

ఏదిఏమైనా కుర్రతనంలో కుతూహులంతో చేసుకునే అలవాటు... నిండు జీవితాన్ని కృశించిపోయేలా చేస్తోందని పరిశోధకులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.

STORYLINE:
Syrian President Bashar Assad says only the Syrian army can protect groups in northern Syria.

In a speech in the Syrian capital Damascus on Sunday, he appeared to be referring to U.S.-allied Kurdish groups, which fear a Turkish assault once American troops withdraw from northeastern Syria.

Assad said any foreign troops in Syria will be dealt with as occupation forces.

He did not specifically mention the planned withdrawal of 2,000 American troops from northern Syria but said "no one should bet on protection from the Americans."
He suggested that the Syrian army will return to the area after the American troop pullout.

"Every inch of Syria will be liberated, and any intruder is an enemy," he said.
