భారతదేశ తొలి సెమీ హైస్పీడ్ రైలు 'వందే భారత్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్'కు తొలి రోజు నుంచే మంచి ఆదరణ లభిస్తోంది. మరో పదిరోజుల వరకు రైలు టికెట్లు అన్నీ అమ్ముడైపోయాయి.

'వందే భారత్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్' వారంలో 5 రోజులు మాత్రమే పయనిస్తోంది. సోమ, గురువారాల్లో రైలు నిలిపివేస్తారు. ఈ రైలుకు లభిస్తోన్న ఆదరణ వల్ల ఫిబ్రవరి 24 నుంచి మార్చి 3 వరకు సుమారుగా 104 శాతం వరకు టికెట్లు అమ్ముడైపోయాయి.

ప్రధాని మోదీ 'వందే భారత్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్'ను ప్రారంభించిన తరువాత, వారణాసి నుంచి దిల్లీకి తిరుగుప్రయాణంలో రైలు మొరాయించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. దానిని బాగుచేసిన తర్వాత దిల్లీకి చేరింది. ఈ విషయంపై కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షుడు రాహుల్, భాజపా నేతల మధ్య సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో వాద ప్రతివాదాలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి.

"Turning on the tears for this was easy because my daughter was 18-months-old when we filmed it and so I was getting really very little sleep. The one good thing being an actress getting very little sleep is that tears come very easily, so that was good. Yeah, there was a lot of crying. I think, again, I was just super lucky that I was working with such lovely people and every single person – behind the camera and in front of the camera – was just a total professional and just lovely. So, it will go down in my memory as one of the jobs that I've liked doing the best."

"It was amazingly cold. It was -15 (Celsius). It was the coldest winter for 30 years. I was alright – I get a great big padded coat and finger warmers and stuff - but Keira Knightly, honestly, there was a scene where she had to run down a hill in an evening dress with high heels on. At the end of that she said 'You can tell I really like you James and respect your work because I would not have done that every director. That was lethal.' I don't know what I was asking her to do. The insurance on those ankles alone!"

"When we were filming it had said in the script 'lots of snow,' and then we were like 'they don't have enough money to make the snow, so it's not going to happen,' and then it happened to be the coldest winter in Prague since 1937. So, there was basically just a snow storm and we were constantly in snow the whole time. I wasn't actually in heals running through it though, because that was impossible."

"Cold? Yeah, it was freezing. Yeah, we were out there, but I can't complain because Keira was in that gold dress. I had the army uniform and they wouldn't let me give my coat, even though I thought my character should because it was like 'no, we can't interrupt that gold dress in the snow, it looks beautiful,' and it did."
