'ఉగ్ర'దేశాలపై ఐక్యపోరు

ఉగ్రవాదాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించే దేశాలపై అన్ని విధాలుగా ఒత్తిడి తీసుకురావాలని భారత్-సౌదీ అరేబియా నిర్ణయించాయి.

ఉగ్రవాదంపై భారత్-సౌదీ అరేబియా ఏకాభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తంచేశాయి. తీవ్రవాద సంస్థలు, వాటికి సహకరించే దేశాలపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపాలని నిర్ణయించాయి.
భారత పర్యటనకు వచ్చిన సౌదీ యువరాజు మహ్మద్ బిన్ సల్మాన్... ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీతో దిల్లీలో సమావేశమయ్యారు. పుల్వామా దాడి నేపథ్యంలో జరిగిన ఈ భేటీలో ఉగ్రవాదంపై పోరే ప్రధానాంశమైంది. మోదీ, సల్మాన్ సంయుక్తంగా నిర్వహించిన పత్రికా సమావేశంలోనూ ఇదే విషయం ప్రతిధ్వనించింది.

పాకిస్థాన్ పేరు ప్రస్తావించకుండానే ఆ దేశం తీరును తప్పుబట్టారు ప్రధాని.

"పుల్వామాలో జరిగిన ఉగ్రదాడి మానవ చరిత్రలో మరో క్రూరమైన చర్యగా మిగిలిపోతుంది. ఉగ్రవాదులు, వారికి మద్దతిచ్చే దేశాలపై అన్ని రకాల చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరముంది. తీవ్రవాదుల మౌలిక వసతులను నాశనం చేయటం, వారికి మద్దతు నిలిచిపోయేలా చేయటం, వాళ్లందరినీ శిక్షించడం అవసరం. ఈ విషయంలో సౌదీ అరేబియా-భారత్ చర్చలు సంతృప్తికరంగా సాగాయి. ఉగ్రవాదం పోరు, సముద్రపరమైన రక్షణ, సైబర్ భద్రతపై రెండు దేశాలు మరింత కృషి చేసేందుకు అంగీకరించటం సంతోషకరం. "

ఉగ్రవాదాన్ని ఎదుర్కోవడంలో భారత్కు పూర్తి మద్దతిస్తామని సౌదీ యువరాజు మహ్మద్ బిన్ సల్మాన్ ప్రకటించారు. నిఘా సమాచార మార్పిడికి అంగీకరించామని తెలిపారు సల్మాన్.

కీలక రంగాల్లో సహకారానికి సంబంధించి భారత్-సౌదీ అరేబియా పలు ఒప్పందాలు కుదుర్చుకున్నాయి.

ఉగ్రవాదంపై భారత్-సౌదీ అరేబియా ఏకాభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తంచేశాయి. తీవ్రవాద సంస్థలు, వాటికి సహకరించే దేశాలపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపాలని నిర్ణయించాయి.

The city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province, the first city in southwest China to introduce an unmanned metro system, began test runs of its driverless subway trains on its first automated metro line on Tuesday.
Following similar introduction in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, Chengdu is the fourth city in the country to roll out the cutting-edge technology to improve its transportation efficiency.
From starting to operating between stations and returning to terminal, and even cleaning, each task can be completed without human interaction.
The fully automated 8-carriage train measures 185 meters in length, with a maximum capacity of about 3,500 passengers. It can reach a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
It will also be China's fastest, with the highest passenger capacity.
"We have integrated pneumatic chairs, and our gates combine doors and steps. The operator's cab is open to the passengers," said Zeng Jian, deputy head of Chengdu Rail Transit Group's new Line department.
The first group of passengers to test ride the train found it quite different from traditional ones but enjoyed the experience and believed it ticked all the boxes to be put into operation.
"We learned that the passengers can enter the operator's cab and enjoy the view along the road. I think this will be a highlight of the train. The residents will have a unique experience," said Liu Tangliang, a test rider.
Zeng, from Chengdu Rail Transit Group, said measures have been taken to ensure safety.
"We ensure safety mainly through control of the train and signal. For example, we can adopt the controlling measures only when the train meets the condition of automatic traction. We have taken these situation [safety issues] into full consideration when designing the circuit design," he said.
Zeng says he believes the driverless mode will become a trend, which will help save manpower and maintenance costs to a large extent.
China has seen a boom in metro construction over the past decade, and the railway network in China continues to expand.
