దక్షిణకొరియాతో పలు రంగాల్లో కీలక ఒప్పందాలు జరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది. పర్యటనలో భాగంగా మహాత్ముడి విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించనున్నారు మోదీ.

రెండు రోజుల దక్షిణ కొరియా పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ సియోల్ చేరుకున్నారు. 'భారత్ మాతాకీ జై' అంటూ ప్రవాస భారతీయులు ఆయనకు ఘన స్వాగతం పలికారు.

దక్షిణ కొరియా అధ్యక్షుడు మూన్ జే ఇన్ ఆహ్వానం మేరకు పర్యటనకు వెళ్లారు మోదీ. భారత్- దక్షిణ కొరియాల మధ్య వాణిజ్యం, పెట్టుబడుల రంగాల్లో పలు కీలక ఒప్పందాలు జరిగే అవకాశాలున్నాయి. ఈ పర్యటనతో ఇరు దేశాల బంధం మరింత బలోపేతమవుతుందని భారత విదేశాంగశాఖ ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేసింది.

పర్యటనలో భాగంగా మహాత్మ గాంధీ విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించనున్నారు మోదీ. సియోల్ శాంతి బహుమతిని స్వీకరించనున్నారు. భారత్ ఎంతో ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా తలపెట్టిన 'మేక్ ఇన్ ఇండియా' కార్యక్రమంలో కొరియా పాత్రను ప్రధాని కొనియాడారు.

8. Pelosi and others walk away from microphone
STORYLINE:
A number of US Congressmembers, led by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, spoke about the importance of NATO and the US-European alliance in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.
Several representatives criticised Russia, calling it a threat to democracy.
Congressman Gerry Connolly spoke of the importance of reasserting of Western liberal values and added "we want to thank Vladimir Putin for bringing us all together to reaffirm those values."
