పుల్వామా ఆత్మాహుతి దాడిలో ఉగ్రవాది అదిల్ ఉపయోగించిన వాహనాన్ని జాతీయ దర్యాప్తు బృందం గుర్తించింది. మరో జైష్ ఏ మహమ్మద్ ఉగ్రవాది సజ్జద్ భట్కు చెందిన మారుతి ఎకో వాహనాన్ని ఉగ్రదాడిలో వాడారని ఎన్ఐఏ తేల్చింది.
పేలుడు సంభవించిన ప్రాంతంలో దొరికిన ఆధారాలను ఫోరెన్సిక్, ఆటోమొబైల్ నిపుణులు పరీక్షించారు. ఛాసిజ్(MA3ERLF1SOO183735), ఇంజిన్(G12BN164140) నంబర్లను గుర్తించి వాహనానికి సంబంధించిన వివరాలు తెలుసుకున్నారు.
కశ్మీర్ అనంత్నాగ్కు చెందిన మహ్మద్ జలీల్ అహ్మద్ హఖానికి 2011లో ఈ వాహనాన్ని కొన్నారు. అనంతరం ఏడుగురి చేతులు మారాక చివరికి బిజ్బెహరైన్కు చెందిన సజ్జద్ ఫిబ్రవరి 4న ఖరీదు చేశాడు.
సజ్జద్ భట్ షోపియాన్లో సిరాజుల్ ఉలూమ్ కళాశాలలో విద్యార్థి. ఎన్ఐఏతోపాటు పోలీసులు శనివారం సజ్జద్ ఇంటిపై దాడులు చేశారు. ఆ సమయంలో సజ్జద్ ఇంట్లో లేడు. భట్ జైషేలో చేరాడని, సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో ఆయుధాలతో ఉన్న చిత్రాలు ఉన్నాయని పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
