కేజ్రీవాల్ దీక్ష వాయిదా

మార్చి 1 నుంచి చేయాలనుకున్న నిరవధిక నిరాహార దీక్షను వాయిదా వేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు దిల్లీ సీఎం అరవింద్ కేజ్రీవాల్​.

కేజ్రీవాల్ దీక్ష వాయిదా

దిల్లీకి పూర్తిస్థాయి రాష్ట్రహోదా కల్పించాలని డిమాండ్​ చేస్తూ మార్చి 1 నుంచి చేయాలనుకున్న నిరవధిక నిరాహార దీక్షను వాయిదా వేస్తున్నట్టు ప్రకటించారు ఆ రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి అరవింద్​ కేజ్రీవాల్​. పాకిస్థాన్​లోని జైషే మహమ్మద్​​ ఉగ్రవాద సంస్థ శిబిరాలపై భారత వాయుసేన జరిపిన మెరుపు దాడుల అనంతరం భారత్​-పాక్​ దేశాల మధ్య ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితులు నెలకొనడమే ఇందుకు కారణమని వెల్లడించారు.

" భారత్-పాక్​ మధ్య నెలకొన్న ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితుల కారణంగా, దిల్లీకి పూర్తి స్థాయి రాష్ట్ర హోదా కోసం నేను చేపట్టాలనుకున్న నిరాహార దీక్షను వాయిదా వేస్తున్నా. దేశమంతా ఏకమై నిలబడాలి"

STORYLINE:
Supporters of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari were celebrating in the street outside his party headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday as a campaign spokesman said they have unofficial numbers showing he has won a second term.
Babatunde Fashola, campaign director for election monitoring and Cabinet minister for power and works, told The Associated Press in an interview that they were preparing "for the president to give his acceptance speech" and celebrate Tuesday night.
Top opposition challenger Atiku Abubakar should accept his loss gracefully and concede, Fashola said.
As the official state-by-state announcements of election results passed the halfway mark on Tuesday evening, Buhari led by more than 1.6 million votes and had won 13 of Nigeria's 36 states.
His first term was hurt by a rare recession and widespread insecurity.
