WATCH: Mass burial of COVID-19 victims in Karnataka sparks controversy

A video of mass burial of COVID-19 patients reportedly in Ballary has surfaced on the internet, sparking controversy. In the video, medical workers can be seen dumping the bodies in a pit. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Ballary's District Collector S.S.Nakul said, "We are yet to confirm whether the incident happened in the city or not. We are investigating the matter." A total of 773 coronavirus patients have been found in Ballary out of which 437 are active cases. Atleast 313 people have been discharged and the death toll remains pegged at 23.
