Symptoms of new strain of Covid in children

The second wave of Covid which is more infectious has started infecting children and young, unlike the first wave. Children are more susceptible to the virus which has raised many concerns among the parents. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Advisor of the World Medical Association Dr. Ramanik Singh Bedi said that symptoms of Covid in children include high fever, breathing problems, mild cough, fatigue, stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin inflammation, eye irritation, body or joint pain among others. He also said children need to eat a balanced diet in order to boost immunity which can help them fight against the virus.
