Rohtang Pass restored after 19 days

The Rohtang Pass, which was closed for the last three weeks, was restored on Saturday. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) succeeded in restoring the snow-logged cross after seven days of arduous work. Residents of tribal district Lahaul-Spiti heaved a sigh of relief with the opening of the pass and now about 500 packing containers of apples trapped within the valley can also be taken out.
