Rajasthan: Poor road connectivity forces villagers to carry patients on cots
🎬 Watch Now: Feature Video
Devoid of basic facilities and proper road connectivity, the residents of Dhar Magra village in Arnod area of Pratapgarh have to carry patients on cots to get them treated for any health issue. An elderly patient was carried to the hospital in a similar fashion on Sunday. The villagers who initially tried to take him to the hospital on a motorbike were forced to switch to a cot after it got stuck in the mud midway. The roads in Arnod are broken and filled with mud and despite the distance between Dhar Magra and the nearest commutable road being 2 km, no action has been taken by the administration to repair it.
