Olive Ridley hatchlings released in Andhra coast

Vizag: Forest department officials released 360 Olive Ridley turtle hatchlings in the sea after they hatched in sea turtle conservation centres along Andhra Pradesh coast. The conservation centres are set up by Chennai Tree Foundation, Ongole Range and Giddalur Division of the State Forest Department to protect the turtle eggs laid along the coast. Once the eggs hatch the officials release the hatchlings safely into the sea.
