National Education Policy will create a holistic evaluation process: Nishank

Lucknow: The new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020-21 will pave the way to provide a unique platform to the students and will fulfil the aspirations of students, said Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Saturday. In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Nishank said, "Macaulay's education policy destroyed India's education system but in the coming time, the National Education Policy will create a holistic evaluation process and the policy will prepare the students to become self-reliant in every field." "Uttar Pradesh is one of the leading states in terms of education and despite being such a big state, the Adityanath government has been able to reach a very low level to implement the National Education Policy here," he said.
